Equestrian

The property has tremendous equestrian opportunity both on the parcel and throughout the neighboring countryside. More than a dozen professionally installed jumps dot the property and it’s trails while there is an extensive trail network surrounding the property. This trail network is virtually endless and is located on both private and public property. The municipal zoning permits any and all kinds of equestrian structures to be built on the property.

As the center of the Brandywine Hunt country, throughout the fox hunting season of September to April this farm plays host to more than fifteen hunts a year including Landowner Appreciation BBQ and the Boxing Day hunt, both of which draw more than 150 local landowners and resident’s.

The Brandywine River

More than a half a mile of the Brandywine river runs along the southern border of the assemblage. The river in this section varies in depth and rate of current providing unique fishing opportunities. So unique is the fishing that this parcel host’s the Boy Scout’s annual opening day of the fishing season each year.

In addition to fishing this section of the Brandywine is a good outlet for paddle sports or just lounging on a tube! With gentle sloping banks scattered throughout the river frontage, access with kayaks and canoes can be accomplished with ease.

Woodlands

The property encompasses ten acres of mature woodlands located on the northern edge of the parcel. These woodlands provide a home to all types birds and other wildlife and are complete with trails traversing the wooded cover. Being located on the Northern edge of the assemblage they do not interfere with any of the down valley views of the countryside.
